When Brett Favre returned in 2009, it was an exciting time for the Vikings fans and franchise. Vikings were allocated the 12th pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. During the 2010 season, they traded their 3rd round pick – as well as a 7th round pick in the 2012 Draft – to the New England Patriots in exchange for WR Randy Moss. They also received a 5th round pick and a conditional 2012 7th round pick from the New York Giants in exchange for RB Darius Reynaud and QB Sage Rosenfels; however, they traded away the 2011 5th round pick to the Cleveland Browns for two 6th round picks.
