With the loss of Austin Rivers at Shooting Guard to the New Orleans Hornets, SG Seth Curry will be expected to carry more of the scoring load and Center Mason Plumlee will be looked to for leadership and scoring on the inside.

The Blue Devils are part of one of the biggest rivalries in college sports as the schools are only 8 miles apart. UNC vs Duke is considered the #1 rivalry in college basketball. The teams have met 234 times with UNC leading the series, 132-102.
