The Eagles band members: Don Felder (guitar), Glenn Frey (guitar, vocals), Don Henley (drums, vocals), Bernie Leadon (guitar, mandolin, banjo), Randy Meisner (bass, vocals), Timothy B. Schmit (bass, vocals) and Joe Walsh (guitar, vocals). The band was formed in 1971 and parted ways in 1980. The Eagles music has ranged from themes of darkness to the pursuit of the American dream. Public demand caused them to reunite in 1994. The 1994 reunion album Hell Freezes Over occupied the #1 spot for two weeks. The Eagles charted five #1 hits, and five more singles made the Top Ten.
