The Grammy Award winning "Zac Brown Band" plays country music and is also known for southern rock and folk music. The band is from Atlanta, Georgia and blistered the Billboard chart with their first major label release in 2009, an album called The Foundation. A Top 20 Billboard selection for 2009, the album layed the foundation, literally, for the 2nd major release, You Get What You Give. This hit debuted as number one on the Billboard Top 200. Not a bad start for these country boys.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer called their live streamed show from the Red Rocks Amphitheatre via ZacBrownBand.com, "Best. Concert. Ever." Amazingly enough the Ustream concert had over 500,000 live views.

So what makes the Zac Brown Band Tour so popular?

The band is largely known for cover songs of other artists like Ryan Adams and Charlie Daniels. The Band also have taken to the seas on the annual Rock Boat theme cruise. Sailing Southern Ground was the title of their own theme cruise in September of 2010. The Zac Brown Band plays many music festivals like Bonnaroo Music Festival in 10 and shows like the Detroit Hoedown. Zac Brown featured music legends Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett on "You Get What You Give".

According to Zac, the group has quite a following. Concert ticket sales would lead one to believe just that.

Brown quit college after the September 11, 2011 declaring, "life is too short" and decided music would be his life. When you are the eleventh of twelve children it would be pretty easy for Zac Brown to figure out what he wanted in life.

The band lead the nominees for 2011 at the Academy of Country Music Awards up for 9 awards total.
