Founded in 1891, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra performs over 100 concerts per year. The orchestra is known as one of the Big Five. The symphony has won more Grammys than any other ensemble in the world.

In 2010, Renowned Italian Conductor Riccardo Muti became the 10th Music Director in the history of the orchestra. He appointed Anna Clyne and Mason Bates as his Composers. Clyne is well known throughout the music world, film and choreography. Bates is a creator of both classical and electric music.
